I have board I want to restore. The grapics on the bottom are great, but the top is very faded. Its a zorlac board. Who can help tell me best way to re-paint and apply the zorlac emblem to the top of the board.

painting and screening are 2 very different things. If you want it to look good, you gotta screen it. And that is a whole 'nother can of worms. |

olive,
yeah, screening it is what I want to do. I have no experience, equipment etc. who or where can i get a template of the zorlac logo from so i can screen it? Would i have to make it myself. I geuss I want to make an attempt at a good restore. This board is in perfect shape but the paint is just really faded on top. |

If you want to go down the screening road, you need to get a good picture of the logo you want to screen. The you would need to burn that image into a screen that you coat with light sensitive emulsion. You should check out the other threads in this forum to learn more. Or take a beginners silkscreening class. |
