I tossing around the idea of starting up a mounting hardware company...does anyone have info on where/how I would go about getting these manufactured? |

Well, unless you've come up with a new design, a la' U-bolts, Chaput's X-bolts or whatnot, why don't you just do what every other "manufacturer" of hardware does, order it from McMaster Carr? |

you buy some nuts, bolts, little plastic baggies, business cards, a stapler, and some tampons for your vagina. |

thanks...I was checking out that mcmaster site...I found the allen head bolts that're partially threaded, but I don't think they offer partially threaded phillips...I prefer phillips personally...any more suggestions? |

why not offer a bigger head bolt that doesnt cut into the deck layers when tightened?
otherwise I think all the bolt manufactures have the market pretty saturated
been there, done that |

i'd say the only way to get any sales off hardware would be to package it in a unique way. that's the main thing. you can get bulk hardware ANYwhere.
if i tried to sell hardware i would just edn up losing money. all the boys would play the hustlin game and try to get it free cause theyre too cheap to drop a couple dollars. . . and i'd end up giving it to them cuz shit; its just a couple bucks right? |
