Olive, what program are you using to digitalize your videos, I'm just curious. I should do that with my videos also and possibly use them towards credit or trades of other videos... Thanks if you respond. CH3NO2JAY |

Well, here is the short version of what I did. I taped the original to a mini dv cam. I bought a firewire card and transferred it to my PC using a program called DVIO. It was a 13GB avi. Then I tried to compress it to divx avi with DIVX 5.03 and VirtualDub, but spent a good month trying with no luck. Instead I used TmpgEnc to convert it to MPEG2, thinking I would then be able to use DIVX to further compress. Turns out there are no MPEG2 decompressors for VirtualDub. So I said fuck it and took the original and compressed to MPEG1 w/ TmpgEnc. It looks good and is about 620 MB, so I think I am done. I'll know monday fr sure. Gato, I'll be sending 2 when I return my useless copy to Herd, so there you go. If anyone wants a copy I can send 'em out for like $5 which includes media and post. Paypal is [email protected] |

@ CH3NO- You digitize Stun and you'll have to send me a copy. Please. I think TimSLAP was looking as well, though he may be after an original copy. |
