I saw them on loosetrucks.com and they look pretty sick. i'm thinking of putting together a longboard as a cruiser for this summer... |

Just picked up a Dogtown "For Life" longboard yesterday. Seems pretty killer, now i've got to decide on wheels and trucks... |

I would say Randal R2 180's or Seismic 180's and Abec 11 Flashbacks or Gumballs

I would disagree on the truck and wheels advice. Not because those arent good, as youlist of some of my favorite trucks and wheels, but because the smaller longboards from dt and bd and other 36-38 inchers feel sluggish and out of there element on some of those massive setups. I roll my comet and bozis aon those types of setups, but for a smaller cruiser or parkbuster i do much better with traditional trucks like indys or grind king longs. and old school wheels or similar types like bullets or such. 36-38 inchers arent speed downhill and i think they perform their best when paired with a more fitting combo, such as park pool or fast slide setups. just my opinion for what little its worth. |

I think the "For Life" is close to a 40.. so it could kinda go either way; but I was thinking of the 44 dt board when i said flashbacks or gumballs... try hooking up some 65mm NoSchools ......... w/your duro of choice. I'd still say some randalls would be cool |

Howdy,
Go with the Seismics! They rule on the shorter
longboards.
They are amazing longboard trucks.
