Hello to the crew here and SABS!
In the 80s, I skated a PP Ripper with Tracker trucks and wheels with german bearings. Loved being a part of the scene, until a close friend got badly hurt on a quarter pipe (in those days, nobody wore pads or helmets). I laid down the hobby, and am now revisiting it again with my kids.
Looking forward to reading up on what you all have shared in this forum. I was also wondering if anyone knows of a site that breaks down PP boards by year, to learn what are original, what are reissues, etc? I have a deck on the way that's dated 1985, but it only reads Powell (not Peralta), which from what I've read, means it would have been produced sometime after 1991.
