Going to Utah on Thursday, just found out that these things exist. Imagine letting go of all my New Schoolism and using this thing in the freshest powder Utah has to offer, and earnin' it. Anyone ridden a swallowtail recently? If I lived there I'd probably recycle a good deck for one of these things. |

Burton Splt 66's are better than the Voile's for a few reasons. If you have never skinned/climbed before you're better off getting a normal Winterstick or O-Sin swallowtail, or a Burton Fish, Frontier, or Cascade. |

Why do you say that? I've actually never really toured before. I tried my friends for a few minutes a couple years ago. It was homemade though, but worked fine. I always used snowshoes, meanwhile he was doing circles around me. The guy Cowboy out in Utah that invented the splitboard uses the Voile. I'm sure it's gotta be good. The graphics are lame though. I usually only go out there for a week or 2 so it's not worth it for me to buy one. It has to just kill it in powder. I'm dieing to try it....ahhh I can hear it now WOOSH, WOOSH, WHEEeeeeeee..... |

The Burton split boards are better engineered, flex pattern, bindings, etc.
Try a Fish if you can. |
