That's not what I mean. Some oversized bushings, because of their design (or the hanger/bushing seat's design), "have no place to go" as they compress. Sort of like an hourglass vs a barrel bushing, if that make sense. |

Do you mean like trying to put a Stimulator bushing in a randal DH hanger? The sides of the bushing endup hitting the axle part of the hanger instead of just being contacted by the bushing seat area.
btw: is silverfish dead or what? |

Well, it had been. But now it's like the database took a dump. The forum isn't working at all. |

That, and some other design issues (read, "flaws") I've seen in other trucks. |

Ah, I believe I've heard about the truck you are thinking of. |

I'm far from an engineer, and have the scientific mind of Sigmund the Sea Monster, but from a skater's feel...the Tracker's are cool. They don't "flop" into a turn like poorly tuned (i.e. right of the box) Randals. The turn is more progressive than instant, and may take some getting used to. But in my mind they work well.
I haven't witnessed any unseating, bulging or other bushing weirdness. I DO think that for me ( a svelte 190 lbs)...the stock orange bushings are a wee high on my comfort range, duro speaking. They work fine, but I'm used to something a bit softer. That being said, I'm also used to something more "normal". It might take a bit of time (for me...not the trucks)...but I think they're on to something.
Ride em and decide.
I'm down. |

GOB,
You should give the GullWing Chargers a spin. Excellent trucks. |
