As far as low-tech, ghetto-style truck-hole drilling, I made a litle template. The board sits in there, and I lock in my hole alignments and then I use the hand drill. I got the idea from 'NorthWest', the M&M part. The only difference is, I bought this contraption that attaches to my drill, and makes sure the holes are straight. I'll see if I can find a link.

I thought about a template to do it but I rarely make the same board twice. A link is much appreciated

thanks

Ok, here's what I use to keep my holes straight:

I got mine from Dixieline for about the same price, but this one looks like it's much better quality.

Thats the ticket right there. Now get all the info you can about it and talk with someone there about what you plan to do. Good work! I think I might even give those guys a call.

They just called me and shot me an email. They have actually made one for another skateboard manu.

Quote:
Frank,

Good morning. I received your inquiry yesterday about drilling 6 holes at a
time in skateboard(s). I have attached a picture of a unit that did almost
this exact procedure for another customer of ours. It will give you an idea
of what we can provide. This customer was stacking boards and doing many at
a time.

NOTE: We provide the drill stroking units and controls as well as the
multi-spindle drill heads but generally only help design the "fixture" they
mount on. We have a number of vendors we can point you to or we can give
you some basic drawings and you can go directly to a local vendor should we
receive this order.

I will call you shortly to discuss your specific application.

Regards,
