There's tons of downhill/speed related equipment out there. Try Mile High Skates or Landyachtz. ABEC 11 wheels are great, look 'em up. |

Get some quality wheels that are atleast 70mm. abec, seismic, bennett all have a nice selection between 70- 77mm. Probably stay around 78a.
For bearings, Rons, oust, builtin, even reds will work fine.
Trucks are more personal preference, atleast for me. I tried a friends gullwing chargers today that I was impressed with. Randals seem to be popular downhill trucks as are Crail, bear and many others that I've never tried. Some have hangers you can flip, making the turn less and more stable. You can also dewedge trucks to acheive the same effect. |

My favorite board that's fast and short would have to be the Dregs Race!! this thing is beast.. one of the best top mounts out there in my opinion.. here are a list of my suggestions (I don't know your price range so I'll just list a few):
1) Dregs Race 40" - Approx $120 CAN
2) Godspeed G-Series Boards - Approx $300 CAN
3) Rayne Nemisis 42"(?) - Approx $150 |

That photo is fucked Slob. It makes the deck look way longer than it is. Fun setup though. |

This one serves as my SGS board and my speedboard. Hella fun. Turns circles around any other longboard on the hill.
