Maguns are overkill unless you're skating serious (read: 50mph+) downhill on a regular basis. |

Brother please. Randal's are far more legendary for their poor Q&C than their late turn geometry.
Oh come one. They're skateboards. You throw them on the ground and ride them. And guys were riding randals at insane speeds down all sorts of hills for years and years before any of these other bandwagon jumpers got into the game. |

And Hutson set records on Indys. Guess I'm splitting hairs here unnecessarily. My level of skill with DH doesn't warrant hair splittin at this point. I'll probably get some Grizzlies. Still haven't figured out a deck tho. The search continues........ |

Get the 40 degree grizzlies and put them on a Kebbek John Caften. It's what I ride, and I like it. |

Blackhart raced 'em too. So did Caedmon Bear, Randy Katen, Covey Baumen, Chuck Bell, Bob Denike, Roger Hickey, Mike Goldman, Tim Piumarta and many others.
Paco Prieto and Rick Fike both rode cantalevered Gullwings years before Randal even existed... one of the Variflex guys raced with some cantalevered Variflex trucks back in the day as welllong before Randal.
Denike used a coned racing helmet years before Chaput too. |

Still seems like Randals have been around forever though.
