The Econ
Its setup with R-II 180s. The rear truck is dewedged (fat part of the wedge facing out). This keeps the back end, unsquirrlied. Theres Grind King king pins (the old long ones) in there with soft blue Doh-Dohs. Gotta keep the king pins as low profile as possible. Randal aluminum is pretty soft and wears very quickly. Before you know it, your banging/twisting the king pin on every little chicken scratch grind. I did have Gravity 97a Street Gs ('tried soem other dif' wheels but was less than pleased) on it but changed to Spitfire Classics (60mm).
Dropping in, is not much of a problem. I find it almost easier to drop on big boards than standard length rides. It does take quite a bit of effort to keep it from falling in before ya drop. A lot of weight needs to be kept on the tail. Theres not much you can do on the way in. Just hang on and enjoy the ride.
same setup but under a 42" Skull Mini Souldier

Not the longest (only 44", with 24" wheelbase), but due to the extreme width (15", with 13" Gullwings), quite a hefty log to swing around. Friday's "El Cochino Rodeo" saw the limits of what could be done with it pushed much further than anyone expected:

Has anybody seen it sold only as
a deck? |
