In reading about various bits of gear throughout the "rock era," it's interesting to see little tidbits about different distribution agreements & import/export bans & tariffs. And how that builds the gear "landscape" in each region.
Like the UK import ban in the 50's that gave rise to Marshall & Vox, or Laney & Burns for instance. And Slob's amps, stuff you see in Canada but rarely here. George & John's Gretsches, Hank Marvin's strat, etc.
And the fact that Marshalls are like half the price in Germany as in the US?
