Hi,
I hope you would enjoy some old skateboarder drawings from the 1970s and Skateboard(er) magazine...
Unfortunately on the the East Coast, there were not alot of contests or skate parks in the 1970's or early 80's so I became a "wall street yuppie" instead...
Here is one of Shogo Kubo of DogTown I believe riding my "logo" board for when I became a "famous" pro skateboarder...
Here is a drawing of a guy on a Maha board, I liked the trick he was doing or something...
Here is another of my "logo boards" with JOHNMC, it is alittle hard to see... Also, you can tell I wanted to be a "graphic artist" as well
I thought someone should see them... Thanks...
Enjoy,
Johnny Mick |

Yeah...
I didn't know 4 of them or so passed away...
Besides Shogo Kubo and now recently Jay Adams... of Zephyr Skateboard Team and Dogtown...
Those were great days...
Rock and Roll and Skateboarding....
I'll miss those guys...
They used to be on ABC "Wide World of Sports" on Saturdays or Sundays as well as dominating the pictures in the Skateboard(er) mags...

Hi...
I was bored at lunch...
So I got MS Paint and did my "custom logo" for my "imaginary" pro deck series...
That was on one of the drawings....
JOHN MC LOGO

Now, All I need is a new board and I can put the logo on the bottom of the board....
I even saw a "how to" video on YouTube to apply custom logo to boards..
These are "bucket list" things of an old guy...
I never got to do my "graphic artist" thing besides being a pro skate boarder
If you want a "custom logo" let me know..

Here I found another drawing of skateboarders from the 1970s
It is the Outrageous Eight
The Four Truck Wide Board - The Almost Surfboard
I made one...
Unfortunately, I have no picture of it...
It was cool to ride... for a while but it wasn't thick or sturdy enough
But I just looked on the internet and I can't find out who created
Simms Powell or Peralta
