Anyone else ride one? I just got the 9-ply, can't wait to try it. Just waiting on some Randall trucks...

Mine went into the mail today, 10-ply with 70mm Flashbacks. Can't wait to get it, I'll post and let you all know how it rides! |

you're both gonna love em
I have an 8 ply-- it was too flexy in the tail for some stuff I wanted it to do.. so I got Brad to make me the very 1st 10 ply... got 75a 74mm Flywheels
Rockin Ride
Flashbacks oughta be killer; the Fly's will be faster, but are a little less forgiving
if you go with the fly's get the 75a
Tried some Avila's on my 10 ply yesterday 84a Front and 76a rear.. good fun...thing felt like a steamroller.... |

The bushings on my Randalls are yellow. I assume that is a durometer (?) Reds are softer???
Also, what (edit:) BEARINGS are ya'll riding? I like these snap together sets with the T flange spacer that seats itself (Reflex) but I wonder if I should look for a better quality..?

Umm for Randalls, the yellows are cool if you don't tighten the trucks down much at all, otherise they'll get torn apart by the washers....
they seem to have changed their bushings to a more durable formula recently..
Randals like big tall juicy bushings.. I have had good results using Indy orange bushings- the taller ones, in all 4 spots.. you want all 4 of them to be big bushings, not the little short kind... Tracker Stimulators rock in randalls; but are getting a little harder to find...
I say go with the yellows that came with em,keep em relatively loose andmaybe change out the washers to flat ones or less sharp ones |
